Carmen was born in 1987 in Grottaglie, Italy. In 2010, she got a degree at the Art School in Lecce. Always attracted by visual arts, she was devoted to painting, but made an early focusing exclusively on photography. After the Erasmus exchange program in the Eastern Europe, she moved to Milan to attend the Advanced Course in Professional Italian Institute of Photography (IIF). Through the self-portrait, the experimentation, and the dark room work, she approached a study related to colour and shapes that become peculiarity and the main theme of her work. Her photography is characterized by creating spaces in which to invent stories. she defines these in still life form but it would be an understatement. |

Centrée au départ sur la nature morte en studio, shootée à la chambre, l’agence a élargi sa proposition en présentant des artistes travaillant en lumière naturelle en intérieur ou extérieur, parfois même avec des personnages. L’agence se positionne comme spécialiste, l’équipe représentée reste à taille humaine de façon à garantir une très bonne proximité entre l’agence et ses artistes ce qui contribue à la réactivité, la fluidité de la communication et la connaissance des techniques de chacun. L’agence choisit de collaborer avec des photographes techniciens confirmés mais aussi créatifs proposant ainsi d’enrichir les créations envisagées par les marques et leur conseil.
The agency was founded in 1999. At the beginning the agency only proposed still life photographers, but now the agency investigates larger fields such as landscapes, interiors and even sometimes living sujects. The agency represents few artists to have a real knowledge of their work and their techniques and is therefore very reactive and efficient. The photographers the agency chooses to collaborate with are great technicians as well as brilliant creatives. They are able to enrich the projects proposed by the brands and their advertising agency. |
